You can enter your school online today. Schools can enter a team of 5 into every age category or simply one or two of their choosing.
Upon entry, we’ll be in touch (within 48 hours) with a pre-tournament questionnaire to complete. This helps us to work out the dates that work best for your school to compete and the time slots that you’d like to enter a team into (we have AM and PM competition slots).
All entries must be made by Wednesday 27th March 2024.
With your pre-tournament information complete, you’ll be sent access to the Cook Off Tournament Hub after the Easter Holidays! Here you’ll get access to all the necessary tournament information, some staff and pupil cookery competition training videos and even a pre-tournament video cooking lesson so you can host an in-class competition (should you wish).
For the tournament, you need to select 5 pupils from participating classes to create a team. We’ll be releasing the challenges before each cook off so your team can get thinking, creating and get prepared for their Cook Off.
On your given competition date, teams ZOOM in to the Cook Offs with their ingredients and equipment ready! Each Cook Off will have up to 8 participating teams. A Classroom Kitchen judge and any guest judges will introduce themselves and get the Cook Off underway. By the end of the hour, we’ll share what each school has made and the judges will reveal which 2 teams will go through to the CK Cook Off 2024 Grand Final!
