Jenna joined the Classroom Kitchen team in September 2023 and is one of our Classroom Kitchen teachers based in the West Yorkshire area. Jenna has a young son, daughter & stepdaughter and so outside of work, she loves to spend time with her family; whether that be on fun days out, lovely walks or at home spending time crafting or baking.
One reason why you love working for Classroom Kitchen?
After ten years of primary school teaching; it’s so much fun leading the class and informing the next generation about health & nutrition whilst creating a buzz in different school settings around new and delicious foods!
What is your favourite Classroom Kitchen Recipe?
Fajitas – this Mexican dish always goes down so well with the children!
What is your favourite cuisine?
Definitely Italian! My go-to order is either lasagne or pizza!
What has been your favourite travel destination?
I’d have to say Greece – I’ve visited lots of Greek islands and they’re always so beautiful and the Greek cuisine is incredible. I love the Moussaka!
Do you have a favourite football team?
I’m not a huge football fan but my family are team Leeds United!
When driving to school – what is on the radio?
I’ve always loved the golden oldies so it’s Smooth Radio for me! Although I am that person, that from October, I’m blasting out Heart Xmas!!
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
Spending time with family and friends – going for walks in the fresh air, to local parks, swimming, going out for good food. To relax, I also enjoy singing, listening to music and watching films.
