This September, we re-launched our weekly cooking and nutrition sessions in schools! Has your school been using us for these? We’ve also been bringing you a variety of Topic Themed and Seasonal Cookery Workshops. So what’s coming to the Classroom Kitchen Service in the Spring Term?
Whole School Cook-a-thon!
We’ve still got some spaces available this January for our Whole School Cook-a-thon days!
You can get the whole school (7 classes) cooking in one day! For only £345 + VAT for a whole day of cooking fun, you can get 7 classes of 30 children working on some cookery basics, learning a little about nutrition and trying a delicious recipe!
Each class will get a 30 minute slot to make a delicious recipe focused on a balanced diet. It’s a perfect way to launch the New Year and kick start a focus on healthy lifestyles, new year resolutions and eating well! In a 20-30 minute cooking session, each child will make a delicious recipe – either our Rainbow Layered Couscous Salad Pots or our Fantastically Fruity, Oaty-Layered Yoghurt Pots!
This is a hugely fun day and every pupil will make a delicious tasting pot to take away that day!

Chinese New Year!
Are you celebrating Chinese New Year in your school? Get in touch about our Chinese New Year experience workshop. We adapt the session and recipes to suit the year group(s) taking part. We have a 2 class or 4 class option available!
Last year, we made Spring Rolls, Coconut Rice Balls, Chinese Noodle Dishes and our classes loved it!

Hot Cross Buns
Easter is booking up quickly and we’re back with our very popular… Hot Cross Bun Days!
You can have 2 classes cook in a full day for only £325 + VAT. We’ll have the whole school smelling incredible by the time we leave. All participating pupils will make a Hot Cross Bun to take away with them at the end of the day!

Gruffalo Crumble (EYFS Special)
Each term we like to bring you an EYFS Special and for the Spring Term it’s all about our Gruffalo Crumble! Book a date between 9th January 2023 and 17th March 2023 for a special price of only £295 + VAT for 2 classes (full day) or one class for only £195 + VAT (half day).
We break the workshop down into comfortable chunks for your EYFS classes and spread the session across a morning or afternoon. We start with a reading of The Gruffalo and then start to get our imagination working to make our delicious Gruffalo Crumble.
The crumbles head into the oven as any crumble should look but come out with a special transformation! We end the session with some tasting!
