Lauren joined the Classroom Kitchen team in October 2022 and is our Administrative Assistant. She has 3 young children and lives in Wigan. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys volunteering for Girlguiding as a Rainbow and Brownie Leader and Is a member of the school PTFA. She also enjoys going on family holidays, cooking with her children and growing her own vegetables in the garden.
One reason why you love working for Classroom Kitchen?
I love that as a team we can work with schools to promote such important life skills and teach children how to cook healthy meals in a fun and engaging way.
What is your favourite Classroom Kitchen Recipe?
Bread-ge-hogs (My kids love making these at home!)
What is your favourite cuisine?
Chinese food!
What has been your favourite travel destination?
Iceland – being able to taste such amazing fresh food that’s available on the day in such rural locations and seeing the Northern Lights.
Do you have a favourite football team?
No, however my husband would say we are a Man Utd household.
When driving to school – what is on the radio?
OneRepublic – Sunshine or anything by George Ezra.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
I have been volunteering for Girlguiding for 8 years. I love travelling around the UK and exploring new places with my children.
